A new Italian restaurant concept will be implemented in the Galeria Luise rotunda by the first quarter of 2017. Business proceeds as usual for all the other stores. To communicate the beginning of the renovation work, AhlersHeinel designed a communication concept with strong key visuals. Displays, ceiling danglers, banners and posters draw attention on site.
With nearly 50 metres of covering, the construction site is an attractive teaser for the forthcoming positive change in the shopping arcade.
The creative core of the concept is a cheeky, flexible key visual with a jaunty Luise wearing a hard hat. A "fine shopping streets" sign and cheeky slogans complete the design. Eye-catching shopping messages and emblems in vintage style, custom designed shopping direction signs as well as logos of the businesses represented in the arcade, combined with the friendly appearance of a white-painted wooden fence generate a striking but, at the same time, high-quality design, which comes tongue-in-cheek and spreads a good mood.
References to the Italian gastronomy placed in various design elements create additional excitement.
Initially, the name of the future operator remains a mystery; nevertheless, visitors to the Galeria Luise are received with a certain "Ristorante Italiano-flair".
